Green Girl Diaries is the brainchild of Vanessa Evans. Its an eleven episode parody web series of the musical Wicked. In 2018, while sitting in the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles, CA waiting to get her yearly dose of Wicked the Musical, her then boyfriend, now fiance surprised her with a pair of Shiz University sweat pants from the merchandise cart. These sweatpants sparked her creativity helping her to realize there was so much more to the story of Elphaba Thropp, specifically during her time at Shiz University.

Vanessa was inspired by the idea of diving into college life at Shiz U an Ozian University. Vanessa intrigued by the challenge of creating her own web series and sharing opportunities for other actors in her area, began her journey of creating Green Girl Diaries.

Vanessa led the way as writer, director and lead actress of Green Girl Diaries.

Green Girl Diaries is a modern-day parody web series of the musical Wicked that focuses on titular green girl and one day wicked witch Elphaba's time at Shiz University. Watch as Elphaba navigates her way through college shenanigans. See the drama play out between her and her posh roommate Galinda. Laugh and cry with her as she feels out a hopeful relationship with new kid Fiyero. Explore the world of Oz, a land filled with wizards, animals, winkies, magic, and munchkins, all seen through the eyes of Oz's biggest outcast.
