And the Winners Are...Lumin and Senior Prom

Vanessa is so excited to announce that she has been chosen to direct two plays for the Page to Stage Playwrights Festival. "That's What She Said." Vanessa will be directing Senior Prom by Dr. Janice L. Liddell. And she will also be directing and performing in Lumin by Emma Gibson.

Senior Prom

Grandma or Grandie as her grandchildren like to call her, has been in invited to the 1st Annual Atlanta Senior Prom. A Gala Event for Atlanta Senior Citizens. The only problem is she doesn't want to go. Watch as Grandie fights her grandchildren Ife and Akon, tooth and nail about the prom, all while learning the ins and outs of online dating. Hmm... maybe Deacon Williams can take her.

Lumin

The pigs are stressed, Liv won’t eat, and Ma wants everyone to follow the Constitutions. Set in a modern-day commune on the outskirts of the desert in Texas, this new play about our need for community asks why the line between delusion and what the rest of us believe is getting blurrier than ever.

Vanessa is excited to directing for Page to Stage for the second year in a row. She over the moon to be directing another one Dr. Liddell's plays. She is bursting with joy to bring to life Emma's community of Lumin, not only as director but also as an Actor.
